Game Design & Analytics Department

The Game Design & Analytics Department is responsible for improving game design and performing in-depth analysis on the company’s game products.

The Department’s functions are classified into three categories:

  1. Game Design. Developing, analyzing, documenting, validating, and updating the requirements for game features.
  2. Game Analytics. Collecting, studying, and analyzing game data (including economic metrics).  Using this data to ascertain trends in user activity and to make accurate forecasts. 
  3. Technical Writing. Developing and maintaining channels for technical communication within the company.

The team uses JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite, BigQuery, Tableau, and Elasticsearch.

Game Analyst

Plarium Kharkiv is looking for talented Game Analysts to join our Game Design & Analytics Department. You will be involved in all of the studio’s projects, collecting and analyzing data to create and adjust the balance of in-game features.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing in-game features of our projects
  • Collecting data using SQL queries and other tools
  • Visualizing data to showcase research results
  • Tracking and analyzing changes in the principal KPIs

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in data analysis
  • At least two years of hands-on experience with SQL
  • Firm knowledge of Python/R
  • Familiarity with the basics of data visualization
  • Ability to work with graphs and pivot tables in Excel, Google Sheets, or Python
  • Understanding of the theory behind statistics
  • Familiarity with data analysis methods

Desired:

  • Experience creating machine learning models
  • Knowledge of game design and game analytics principles
  • Familiarity with basic gaming metrics and specialized KPIs
  • Understanding of F2P mechanics
