The Game Server Development Department develops and maintains server-side solutions for Plarium’s five mobile and six social games.
As standard technologies have proven unable to meet our performance targets, our highly qualified developers have been making their own custom tools.
Our department deals with tasks related to multithreading, caching, and distributed computing. In their work, specialists in the department apply efficient memory management methods, object pool patterns, and buffers. In order to diagnose and prevent any performance and/or scaling problems, the team utilizes its very own solution – a real-time profiling system. The back-end is entirely based on .NET, ASP. NET, and MS SQL Server.
